Better Beauty Box was created by Cruelty-Free Kitty in order to:

- Help you go cruelty-free long-term
- Bring you products that are handpicked and genuinely the best
How it started
After working in the beauty industry for nearly a decade, and despite my efforts, I realized that cruelty-free products were less accessible, and often more expensive than the mainstream options. As an example, a good, clean, cruelty-free deodorant is typically priced around $20, while a deodorant that’s tested on animals only costs $5. That’s 4x the price, and if you’ve never tried the product for yourself before, you might second-guess buying the cruelty-free option.
The box is here to introduce you to cruelty-free products that are tested and vetted. They’re among the best in their category, so you don’t have to gamble on expensive products every time you make an ethical purchase. The products are chosen not only based on ethics alone, but also on performance.
What’s in the box?
From the beginning, I knew I wanted the box to only include full-size products so that subscribers can get the best possible value. I also wanted to select products from multiple categories, so that you can have cruelty-free options for everything: makeup and skincare, of course, but also products that are harder to find such as hair care, deodorant, and even personal hygiene.
How it works
The beauty of this box is that you have control. Once you subscribe, you can skip as many boxes are you’d like, no questions asked. Many of our subscribers love getting products every month, but if it seems excessive to you, you’re able to skip every other box, bring your subscription to one box every 2 months. You can also easily pause of cancel your subscription.
